Date night: Zoominations

Right now Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa has an exhibit called Zoominations. This is an exhibit of lanterns all over the park. Such an awe to see in person and the pictures just doesn’t do it justice. We love checking out locals things as a family and this was such a fun activity. This is a once in lifetime opportunity, Toronto, London and Beijing are the only other places this exhibit has been held. Groupon has a wonderful deal going on right now for tickets. This exhibit ends June 28th. If you can I would highly suggest you come out and see it.

Some Bunny Loves you

I am always on the lookout for fun things my son and I can do together in our area. One place to look at is event brite.( Just search kids events) this site is great to see what kind of activities your family can enjoy in your area. I came across a mom and me paint class that happens every week.

The class included everything for $20. It was a keepsake painting and you would be using either your child’s foot or hand in the painting. That day we painting a bunny using our child’s foot. One of my sons nicknames is Honey Bunny so I was excited to be able to make this and hang it in his room.

This was put on by a company called The Color Wheelz and if you live in the Tampa Bay area I would highly recommend you check them out. This class was great. They read stories to the children and had a game for them to play. This company will also come to you for private parties for adults or children.

40 Date Night Ideas

Before we were married my husband and I sat down and discussed what we expected out of marriage. One thing we both agreed on was that we needed to continue to date one another. It’s not advantages for your relationship to think that you or your partner will never change. One of the ways that you can keep up with the changes that comes with life and grow together is to have date nights. They can be something simple as just talking to each other about what your life plans are for the next five years to a weekend getaway vacation.

The important thing to do is for you to have a night to yourself where you don’t talk about work or the kids and you get to know your partner. We as a couple do this once a week.
