I saw a meme the other day and I couldn’t help but laugh. They always say that history repeats itself.
Ahh the 90’s when times were simple, the fashion was crazy but something that I miss sometimes. My son was born in the mid 2000’s and it’s crazy to imagine what the fashion trends will be like when he gets older. For now I enjoy styling him the the fashion that I remember and grew to love. Here is a throwback outfit of the day featuring my son.
I have been planing another girls night for about a month. My goal is to have one at least every two months. A night that I can get out the house and just relax with my girls. We decided to check out a place that we have never been to. This restaurant/bar that is set up like a speakeasy. You have to knock on the door and you can only get in IF you have a password(That is given to you the night before your reservation when they call to confirm) It was very chic and quaint.
I knew that I wanted to dress modern but comfortable. I hate waiting until the last-minute to plan an outfit but with a toddler you never know what kind of mood they will be in lol. So the DAY before the event I decided to just take a look around one of my favorite stores to see what I could find. I found a dress that reminded of the sunset and I had to have it. Paired with blue accessories and I was ready to go. In the words of Beyonce I was “feeling myself”. I threw on my GOOD wig and I was ready for my evening. I also have a video review of the wig here

Spring is here and that means time to pull out the bright colors and rompers. You can imagine my delight when I found out that Charlotte Russe introduced a plus size line. The prints are on trend and I love that they are a company that realizes that women with curves like to dress in trendy, fashionable attire too. The shoes and rompers that I am wearing are both from Charlotte Russe.
I ordered this two rompers in a 1x( I usually wear a size 14-16) the fit was great and comfortable. One thing I will tell all my curvy ladies, do not get caught up in the size. Get what looks good on you and wear stuff that you are comfortable in and fits your body type. Don’t let anyone tell you what you should wear.
They clothing that Charlotte Russe has released are affordable too. So check them out, you will be glad that you did.
When I found out I was having a boy I was so excited. I shared the news with everyone. A lot of people would say “Aw thats nice but would’t it be great to be able to dress you and your girl alike and have the same hair” I would just say:”I am blessed that I am having ANY child lol and I know that my son and I will have mommy and me moments as well”
Well today was that day! What I didn’t expect however is how hard it is to set up and take pics with only you and a toddler. I thought hey I have a tripod and a remote I am all set. I just need to take some shots and we will be all set. I WAS WRONG. I consider this a life lesson and I will now only have my husband take pics for us when I want to do a OOTD again. But I had fun and wanted to share with you our OOTD
This past weekend was the last of 2013! Where did the year go? True I spent 3/4 of the year pregnant so that could be why it felt like it flew by.
I really wanted a low key weekend with my husband and 3 month old. And since it was “chilly” in Florida I decided to bust out the boots and long sleeves. I decided to do a bargain look. I’m currently loosing weight(went from a 18 to size 12) and I do t want to purchase a whole new wardrobe so I just bought some pieces and decided to do a casual look for our date night out.
The pants and shirt are both from oldnavy and the boots are from JustFab. both very good bargain stores and great places to buy pieces to add to your wardrobe without breaking the bank.
And of course I had to g out with BOTH of my guys. My husband did a wonderful job with taking our pic and here is my little man. Hope you all enjoyed your last weekend of 2013 and I hope your 2014 is GREAT
